How to prepare for your HEADSHOT Session.

How to prepare for a headshot session:

I know that head shots are incredibly important for an artist.

I also know that your headshots have to reflect who you are and what you do. 

Communication is key. 

When you message me tell me about yourself and what you do. I would also love to know what you will be using the photos for and where. This way I can make sure our location fits well & I can give you exactly what you are looking for.  I will message you more information on how to prepare and what to expect for our session. 

I offer Headshots for : Authors, Musicians, Bands, Models, Actors, Public Figures and Entrepreneurs. Please message me if you have any questions!

What to wear :

This is one of the most common questions, and a very important one as well! 

You want to look your best of course , these images will be viewed by people on a daily basis!

I recommend you try your clothes on with shoes in front of a mirror and make sure you like your look ! Do this with every outfit . 

For a 1 hour session - I recommend 2-4 outfits. 

For a 2 hour session - I recommend 5-8  outfits.

For a 3 hour session - I recommend 6-10 outfits .

If you wish to wear makeup - please bring some with you or hire a make up artist for this session. If you invest in a 2 -3 hour session why not invest in your makeup for the day as well?

** I strongly recommend this for models and actors! 

I recommend you bring accessories, like your favorite hat, necklace, bracelets, watch, earrings, scarf & sunglasses.

Again, depending on your profession- Props can be smart to bring for certain artists.

Shooting Location: 

I will recommend a location for us & you let me know if you’re fine with that.  If you have a location we can use don’t be shy to let me know! Please make sure we are allowed to use the location before we do so .

After our session:

After we are done I go through my camera to make sure we captured everything we need. 

You will receive your photos within a week through DropBox or a USB.
